Efficient processes
Our efficient manufacturing operations pay off for our company and simultaneously for the environment. We contribute toward the success our business by achieving higher product yields in our plant. And that’s also works positive on the environment: we use fewer resources and reduce both emissions and waste.

The specific process lay-out of Polyscope’s SMA plant creates:
• High purity recycle streams that provide for tighter control of properties
• A continuous production process (instead of production in batches) which allows for tighter products specifications especially in Mw, MA%, flow and clarity
• Crystal clear products without risk of contamination
• Low residuals

The production facility in Geleen recycles it’s own waste streams into a new raw material feed for the reaction process. Our production therefore has a small carbon footprint and can be considered as a “Green” production process.

Water
Worldwide water is becoming a scarce resource. The sustainable use of water is therefore of concern to us. We reduce emissions to water from our own production processes, and help our customers to develop products that save water and improve water quality.
