Targeting at improved adhesion and/or compatibility performance XIRAN SMA offers challenging opportunities:

• Adhesion boosting by improving surface properties such as plating, painting, glueing and foaming.
• Compatibility boosting of polymer blends, glass reinforced/natural fiber compounds such as improvement of mechanical properties, modification of surface properties and improvement of miscibility of components.

Proven in various applications
XIRAN is a styrene maleic anhydride (SMA) co-polymer which has already proven its adhesion and compatibility boosting functionality in various applications, lately especially in combination with bio polymers like for instance Poly lactic acid.
