SMA for food applications

The applicability of polystyrene for microwaveable packaging is limited by its thermal performance. Dispotherm (XIRAN^® inside) offers the solution to improve the thermal performance of polystyrene and herewith enabling the microwaveable food packaging application for polystyrene!

Dispotherm enables customised Vicat increases of polystyrene. Advantages over actual PPO and other SMA solutions for polystyrene are:
